Collect customers’ email addresses with the Newsletter section.
After a customer submits the form in the Newsletter section, a customer account is created and stored in the Email subscribers customer segment on the Customers page in your Shopify admin, where they can be included in marketing campaigns that target this customer segment.
Add a Newsletter section
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Next to Emporium, click Customize.
- Click Add section, then click Newsletter.
Link to your Privacy Policy
Help customers understand how you use their personal data.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Next to Emporium, click Customize.
- Under the Newsletter section, click Add block, then click Disclaimer.
- In the Text rich text field, input a disclaimer.
- In the Text rich text field, click the Insert Link icon.
- In the Link field that appears, select Policies → Privacy Policy.
- Click Insert.
If the option to select your Privacy Policy doesn’t appear, make sure to add one on the Policies page in your Shopify admin.
