Recommended main menu structure

In Emporium, child menus are made visible on click/tap only. Hovering over the parent menu item of a child menu with a pointer has no effect. This behavior:

• maintains the same customer experience across touch-enabled and pointer-enabled devices, as some devices have one but not the other,
• provides a better experience for customers that rely on keyboard navigation only.

As a result of this behavior, if your parent menu item has a link that needs to remain accessible, then it’s recommended to include a child menu item that has the same link (e.g. Shop all).
