Show an image or video next to some text.

Add a Media with text section

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Click icon-add.svg Add section, then click Media with text.

Display an image

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Click the Media with text section.
  4. Under Type, select the Image option.
  5. Under Image, click Select image.
  6. Select the image to display, or upload a new image, and click Select.
  7. Under Aspect ratio, select an option.

Display a video uploaded to Shopify

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Click the Media with text section.
  4. Under Type, select the Video (Shopify) option.
  5. Under the Video (Shopify) field, click Select video.
  6. Select the video to display, or upload a new video, and click Done.
  7. In the Description field, input a short video description for customers using screen readers.
  8. Under Aspect ratio, select an option.

For best results, make sure to select an aspect ratio that matches that of your video. Vertical videos are supported.

Display a video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Click the Media with text section.
  4. Under Type, select the Video (YouTube or Vimeo) option.
  5. In the Video (YouTube or Vimeo) field:
    1. If your video is hosted on YouTube, input its YouTube URL.
    2. If your video is hosted on Vimeo, input its Vimeo URL.
  6. In the Description field, input a short video description for customers using screen readers.
  7. Under Aspect ratio, select an option.

For best results, make sure to select an aspect ratio that matches that of your video. Vertical videos are supported.

Add a heading

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Under the Media with text section, click icon-add.svg Add block, then click Heading.
  4. In the Heading field, input a heading.
  5. Optional: In the Subheading field, input a subheading.
  6. Optional: In the Subheading position field, select an option.

Add some content

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Under the Media with text section, click icon-add.svg Add block, then click Description.
  4. In the Description rich text field, input a description.

Add a button

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Next to Emporium, click Customize.
  3. Under the Media with text section, click icon-add.svg Add block, then click Buttons.
  4. Under the BUTTON 1 heading, in the Label field, input a label for the button.
  5. Under the BUTTON 1 heading, in the Link field, paste a link or search for an existing page on your online store.
  6. Under the BUTTON 1 heading, under Type, select an option.
  7. Optional: If you want to add a second button, then repeat steps 4–6 for BUTTON 2.
